97種の植物、78種の鳥、10種のは虫類・両生類、19種の昆虫類、9種の真菌類に対してロシアにて行われた40年間に及ぶ生物季節学的なモニタリングの結果について。それぞれの種は異なる早さで気候変化に対して季節学を変化させており、それはそれぞれが異なる気候要因(温度・降水・降雪など)に対して応答している結果であると思われる。鳥と昆虫は短期間の気候イベントに敏感に応答するが、植物・は虫類・両生類・真菌類の多くはより長い時間スケールの変化に影響を受けている。それぞれの年々変動は同調しており、従来考えられていたよりは季節学的な不一致は起きないかもしれない。
